    Hi,

I’m unravelling some issues, wondering if I’ve discovered that I have to operate our implementation with a Google API Key. Is this required now?

Issue: I recently added a meeting for the “Allegany County Jail” and the address goes missing. What I mean is, the map displays (sometimes) but once the new record is updated the information is absent in the editor. Re-entering it reproduces the same behavior.

Also: Website links, meeting info and contacts don’t show up in the search results:

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi David,

Yes, you need either a Google or a Mapbox API key because of the pricing change last year. More info here: https://meetingguide.org/google-api Looks like you went with Mapbox. Looks good!

Addresses are sent to Google for verification and correction. Looks like you’re using 4884 NY-19, Belmont, NY 14813 for this record, which looks good.

It’s true that you can’t search for meeting contacts or web addresses. Those don’t seem like things people would ordinarily keyword search for. You can keyword search for name, notes, location, location notes, address, group, and group notes.
