    Hi,

I’m trying to display some posts at a homepage widget.
Is it possible to get them in columns (horizontal layout) instead of the vertical default listing?

With our pro version we support a lot of more design options, like your asked columns (horizontal layout) https://tiptoppress.com/term-and-category-based-posts-widget/

You can try the pro version for free at a localhost WordPress installation.

Great, that sounds good but I want to be sure because I’m converting a site from a theme to a new one that doesn’t have the same homepage widgets.

If you check this demo here:

will I be able to recreate exactly the same bloc like the one at the middle of this homepage which is titled “Recent Posts”?

    In summary:
    – a clickable title (which is not the case here)
    – 3 or 4 columns
    – a thumb followed by excerpt
    – the post’s date (and nothing else)
    – a clickable footer that links to the full category page

    Thanks for your help!
