I just updated woocommerce but it failed and I lost all my products on the website.

When I try to activate woocommerce it shows the following error:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Hey there!

It looks like the plugin had an issue installing all the files when updating. A lot of times this is due to permissions issue with the hosting, or something cut it off as it was installing.

You can usually fix this (and bring back all the database info so it shows on your site, including your products) by deleting and installing the plugin again.

You can do this via FTP or the WordPress plugin page. Hopefully that helps! Have a great one!

    Yes, this helped thank you.

Now after successfully installing woocommerce, it requesting to update the database after the last woocommerce update.

If I update the database will it do anything negative again, actually I am not confident to do such an update?
