Hello,
I get an error when I use featured image on my post.

here is the error:

I get this error on any themes.
just amp plugin and yoast seo and simple ssl plugins are activated.

Apparently the curl_multi_init() function is not available on your PHP. Have you checked if the function exists? Does the curl_init() function exist?

It could be that you don’t have cURL installed: https://www.php.net/manual/en/curl.installation.php

@mrhosein Can you confirm that the curl extension is not installed? I want to add a check to the plugin to make sure that this is caught in the future.

@westonruter I got the same error in a localhost installation. As you said, curl extension was not being loaded. So, I fixed that on the local server and the error has gone.

@billbordallo Thanks for confirming. The next version of the AMP plugin will catch this dependency error up front as of https://github.com/ampproject/amp-wp/pull/2183

Hi, can anyone provide a way to fix the curl error? Not sure how to add it to host. Your help is much appreciated! @billbordallo @westonruter

@danielkolbo the installation method can change depending on your environment. Maybe you could contact your hosting provider and ask then to install the curl extension. They will probably help you with some instructions or the installation itself.
