• I have downloaded and setup the Pro version. . . very nice theme.

Menu as is, Home – Blog – About – Contact. I would like to add two items, Travel and The Trip. I want both of these to work just like the blog page. In short I’ll have three blogs on one site. When a post is made I would like to pick which blog it will appear in.

    Is this possible?

    Thank you!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Thanks for upgrading!

You can do this with post categories.

First, create new post categories for Travel and The Trip. Then visit the Customizer and open the Menus section. Select the menu you want to edit and you’ll see an option to add categories to your menu. Add both Travel and The Trip.

Now whenever you write a new post, you can select which category you want to publish it in, and it will show up automatically on the page you linked to in the menu. Each post will also show up on the Blog page which includes every post you write.

Hey Ben. . . this works great but I need a space at the top or beginning of all these pages. . . Example would be on the Travel page I want to write an intro with a picture at the top and have posts appear under it. Is that easily possible?

Hmm okay there are a couple of methods you can try out.

First, if you visit the Posts > Categories menu, you can select any category to edit it. You’ll see a box to enter a category description that will be output on the category archive page. There is not currently an option for an image.

Alternatively, you could use the Before Main Content widget area added by Tracks Pro. This gives you access to any widget you want so you can add an image and description that way. With the Widget Options plugin, you can restrict certain widgets to individual pages on your site. This means you could add a widget to the Before Main Content area for the Travel category page and then only display it on that page so it doesn’t show up on your homepage or anywhere else.
