Can’t get Auto update of league table to work

Hi @butchersoldboys ,

To have your League Table update automatically, then your Teams, Events and League Table must have the same League and Season selected! Hi Savvas,

I have checked the teams, events and league table and they all have the same season selected.

I read through the link you gave me and put equations in but its still not working. Are you able to give me instruction to look at on football rather then what’s in the link because I still can’t get it to work automatically

If your events are correct, it’s very likely that the rules of your sport aren’t.

Please kindly check under SportsPress > Configure to see if you have your league tables set up correctly.

In particular, you need to check your table columns rules

Have you got an example of the equations that need to go into the table column rules that i could look at. That would definitely be the problem

How do I post a picture of the tables and I will put them up might make things easier.

The equation really depends on the current rules and variables of your sport. As for the screenshot, unfortunately, WP doesn’t allow uploads here. But you can upload a screenshot to your site or to an image sharing service and send us a link.

The equation i would need would be 2 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 2 for a bye.

I have had a look at this persons tables

and what that looked like and the equations you gave him but still i can’t get it to work.

Your setup seems to be fine. What about your events? Are you using the “win”, “loss” and “draw” outcomes? The other setup steps are:

1) Make sure your teams are assigned to the right competition / season
2) Make sure your events have the teams, competitions and seasons correctly
3) Check if your league table is loading the right competition and season.
