    Hi there,

After trying to use the plugin for few hours i’m reaching out for help.

I’ve launch the Plugin test and no issue is detected.

After clicking on “Save crop” the JS debug gives me the link of the pictures and it is there, well cropped. However the cropped picture is not assigned to featured image after that and i can’t find it in the media library.

    Could you please help ?

    Thanks,

You have to add the featured image yourself – the plugin is only for adjusting the crop region of the image.

WordPress do handle images in another way, than you think:
Once you upload an image, different image-sizes of the image are generated automaticly (i.e. “thumbnail”, “newssize”, …). These image-sizes may be cropped. In the media library you will only see the original image.

Cause wordpress will always use the center of the image for cropping my plugin provides a way to adjust the crop-region.

It depends on your theme (and plugins) where the different image-sizes where used. Your theme will use the image-sizes once it needs a certain size of the original image for displaying. For example: if you insert an gallery in a post, the gallery will use the “thumbnail” image-size of an image by default.
