    Hi,

    This extension is amazing!

And yet, I have a question : Is it possible to merge the content of 2 fields in one unique cell in the [pdb_list] table and the [pdb_single] table ?

I have a databases of poetry records texts with an Author1 and Author2 fields (because sometimes, there is 2 authors for 1 poem.) and I wanna show them in the same cell (because this is a rare occurrence and if I do 1 column for each I will have a fully empty column for Author2 most of the time.)

An other way to do that could be a field that can take other fields as inputs so I could create a field Authors who would have Author1 and Author2 as inputs; but I did not found something capable of that.

    Thanks for your help!

Something like this requires the use of a custom template, so it will also require some knowledge of HTML and php to get the effect you want.

    Using Participants Database Custom Templates

Another possibility is to use CSS rules to hide the second author field if it is empty, but of course this won’t work if you’re using a table to show a list of records.

Hi, thanks for the fast reply.

I did found a turnaround by using flexbox instead of default template. And it have the advantage that it’s better on little screens and mobiles. So, that’s really great!

    Thx a lot!
