Background slider – doesn’t resize vertically with section

I have a critical issue with the Background Slider feature. It doesn’t cover the section vertically if it gets resized. (I set “Cover” option to true of course)
Let’s say, I create a section with min-height=70% and set a background slider. If I open the page in a smaller browser window then resize it to larger, the slider doesn’t get larger in the vertical axis, the images stay the same size. It leaves the section empty at the bottom. I would like to use this for a hero section, but this way it’s unusable unfortunately. For example, if I load the page on a tablet in landscape position and then rotate it to portrait, half of the hero becomes empty.
Basically what I would need is that the slider should work like the css “background-size:cover” property.
Please help me with this issue, thanks in advance!
