Woocommerce categories on shop page visible

  • Hi there,

    I’m working at the moment on my woocommerce shop. I added a sidebar to the shop with the categories of my products. https://www.monpetitrouet.com/shop/
    It’s ok like this for me.
    But on the Right side of this category-sidebar, there are all the single products of my shop visible.
    I would like to see only the categories of the products (I added Pictures for the categories) instead of the single products. Then the customer can choose a category (by clicking on the Picture and not only by choosing it in the left Hand Navigation).

    I already tried on the Dashboard “woocommerce” – “sort&display” but there I can’t see a solution.
    And in the customizer of my theme (I use Flatsome child) I can switch in the Editor for the product catalogue between “sho categories” / “Show products” / “Show both” – but Nothing happens….

    Does anybody have a great idea?

    Hi there again,

    unfortunately, I cannot resolve the Problem on my own… I think that the solution is quiet simple, but I’am too stupid to find it…

    So I really thank you for some hints:
    On the main shop page, I would only like to Display the category Images and when the Client clicks on them, he / she can see the products of this category in the next step. But first, only the Images of the categories.

    Is that possible?
