Html Stripped from Recipe Cards

  • We are having any issue WP recipe cards that were previously working stripping out all of the HTML so it just shows as plain text and you have to then re edit and add the recipe ID back in and delete the plain text.

    We have edited them all back now as its affects the UI

    Wanted to see if anyone else has had the same issue?

    What editor are you using? The Classic Editor or the new Gutenberg Block Editor?

    How do you see those recipes in the classic editor? Are they still showing up as a recipe preview that you can click on to edit?

    Hey, on first creation it done via the button in the toolbar and on save and preview all looks good, on edit source a correct one looks like [wprm-recipe id=”18391″]

    then randomly we notice its just plain text in the recipe, with older ones that had not been edited.

    So we go back and edit and find then original recipe id and put the shortcode back in and re save.

    We recently check about 300 and 50 were like that.

    Very strange. Any plugins active (or recently active) that would be editing the post content in any way?

    yeah i know, super odd. Not that we could find, its tough as its not easy to replicate.

    I’m afraid I’m not sure what could have happened either. Feel free to send a list of plugins you have active to [email protected] and I’ll see if anything jumps out.
