Hello, thank you for your great plugin.
Unfortuntely I have issues with the search function of WPPA. The settings in Table IX / E do not seem to solve them.
My photos have embedded IPTC Text. WPPA reads it out correctly and displays it under the photos. I would like to incorporate the words in the Keywords, Caption and Title areas into the image search. The results should only be images. (IX / E6).
The IPTC keywords do not seem to be taken into account, although there is a tick in IX / E3.

In addition, I understood the description of the search in the documentation so that entering two terms separated by a semicolon triggers a search for photos whose meta-texts contain both terms. And that entering two terms separated by a comma triggers a search for images whose meta-texts each contain one or both terms.

That does not work. I have tried these functions for both settings under IX / E10 without success.

Am I doing something wrong or is WPPA not working properly with me?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Saving the IPTC data is not enough to make the photos searcheable on that metadata.
You must effectively use them in the photo description. You can do that by keywords e.g. 2#080 for ‘Photographer’. Just type the keyword in the description (or in the default description fo future uploads see Table IX-D3 and D5.
For more info on this see: this ducumentation page.

Tags are the tags that you add to the photos on the Edit photo information admin page, see: https://wppa.nl/docs-by-subject/admin-pages/album-admin/#wppa-container-7

Further: be aware of the fact that the search index db table is maintained by background processes (cron) so it may take a while/few pageloads before they become effective.
