“There was a problem while notifying Google.”

i’m having an issue with xml-sitemap generator for wordpress 3.1.4

everything else is working fine except i receive the error message:

“There was a problem while notifying Google.”

i already submitted the sitemap in my webmaster tools as well as verifying the site. i think this is something on Google’s end since their webmaster tools was down just an hour ago.

does anyone else have this problem? thanks.
