Can I use gtag with this?

    Hi there,

    As far as I understand this plugin only works with the old analytics.js and inserts that code itself?

    I currently already use the global site tag gtag, to track in both analytics and in adwords.

    It seems this plugin does not work when gtag is there due to double tracking?

    Can you clarify?

    Hi David,

    Yes the current implementation still uses the analytics.js method. Since there are quite a lot of differences between the two, there will be parts of the plugin that will need to be rewritten to support gtag. So right now it’s not compatible.
