Hello. I downloaded and installed Events Manager plugin. I am almost completely able to use it, except for one thing. The date and time pickers do not proper.y work with a screen reader.

I use NVDA. I tried to work with the date and time pickers with JAWS too. Neither screen reader worked. I cannot change the values. I can write them in, but, nothing is changed when I do this. If this could be addressed, it would be appreciated. Thanks. Any help I can give you, I will. Ask, tell me what to do, and I will do it.

it might be due to a plugin or the theme conflict; does your current theme loads it’s own jquery library? at the moment EM uses wordress default jquery library.

I’m not sure if my theme uses a different JQuery library. I’m using Weaver Xtreme. I could see about getting a list of plugins. It is rather small.

    Hello,

have you tried changing Theme? Please try and Install WP Safe Mode (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-safe-mode/)
    – Activate and Enable Safe Mode. Please make sure that on the settings a twenty series theme is selected.
    – When activated it would help you test as if the Webiste only plugin activated is EM and twentyseries theme

Can you try and change the format of your datepicker? Under Events > Settings > Formatting > Date/Time > Date Picker Format > SET TO: mm-dd-yy

I tried that, or some of it, and I lost many of the options that I knew were there. It tells me now that I cannot access some of the pages to set things p in Events Manager. I did not use the wp safe mode plgin, but, I did change the theme to 2019. Before I can go forward, I need to figure out some of these issues. This plugin is perfect for what I need.

just to narrow down the problem and help us debug the issue is it possible to try the following temporarily:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems
