    Hi !
I love Neve, it’s an amazing and beautiful theme. ??
However I’ve noticed that when using the blog layout that shows thumbnails on the left and right of the container, it looks like Neve resizes the thumbnails pictures in HTML or CSS from 930×620 to 306×204. And this is considered as a bad practice by GTMetrix, which results in a F grade… Instead Neve should be serving scaled thumbnails.
I’ve tried to regenerate the thumbnails, customize the media sizes by using the plugin “Simple Image Sizes” but I can’t get anywhere to solve the issue.
Any help would be much appreciated. ??
Thank you in advance for your answer !
    K

    Please ? ??

    Hi @khannibal,

The theme has only one image size set to 930×620, as it should be good enough for any page layout. By adding more image sizes in the theme, every time an image is uploaded to the library, a duplicate will be created for each image size, therefore the theme scales them with CSS code instead of generating too many images.

We will investigate if we can add a filter, so each user can declare more image sizes in a child theme.

    Best regards,
    Stefan

Same problem here, Neve doesn’t serve scaled images, not really optimal for speed loading.

    How to fix it?
