Dynamic Featured Image Background: ‘Posts’ vs ‘Archive Posts’ Widgets

Hello, first thanks for making this widget! I echo everyone else to state how useful it is. So I know there are already several support topics about dynamic featured images, but I didn’t see my particular use case.

The issue is that I have a post skin that uses the featured image as dynamic background of the section. The image shows in the ‘Archive Posts’ widget on a category page, but does not show in the ‘Posts’ widget of a regular page. Everything else about the skin works as expected.

Any thoughts or workarounds? Thanks!
