Unwanted changes from Once daily to Non-repeating

  • WP Crontrol had been working flawlessly on two sites for many months and since May 9 it is mysteriously changing the event recurrence on ‘wordfence_start_scheduled_scan’, and ‘backwpup_cron’ from Once daily to Non-repeating. The change happens each time the event runs, so I have to go in and change it back every day.

    Is this specific to WP Crontrol? Does the event still run once with the plugin deactivated? Can you try another cron management plugin such as Cron Crontrol and see if the same problem occurs?
