    Hello,

When trying to check out with Apple Pay, our customers are receiving a message that says:

    Apple Pay Not Complete
This website was not able to complete the payment. Please try again.”

The strange thing is that the order actually does get created successfully in WooCommerce. But there is no indication to the customers. So the customers are seeing this message, and attempting to place the order again. The second attempt will show the error message again. And then another order is actually placed, resulting in a duplicate order.

Any ideas how to solve this? I used my iPhone to replicate the bug. I have a screenshot and also the WooCommerce and Stripe log data if it would be helpful in troubleshooting this.

    Thanks,
    Zach

  • Hi there @znagle,

This is interesting! Yes, can you please share Stripe logs for one of the orders which got duplicated because of Apple Pay?

Also, can you replicate the same behavior with Storefront as active theme and only WooCommerce and Stripe plugins enabled? It sounds like a staging site would be a good idea here. If your host doesn’t offer that option, we recommend WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site and run a conflict test there without affecting your live site.

This is a good document on how to conflict test – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts

    Cheers!

    Hi @znagle,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
