I’m having problems with the shipping calculator (estimator?) in the cart. When you first go to the cart, it guesses your country and correctly shows the shipping price for that country. But if you change the country, it says “No shipping options were found for [country]” until you enter a full address, including house number, which you can’t of course do on the cart page. I want the shipping price to be shown from just choosing the country, nothing else is relevant for my shipping prices.

The only exception to this problem is the UK, which works fine. The UK is using a free shipping plugin (WooCommerce Free Shipping Per Product), all other countries are using the built in “Flat Rate” shipping.

    Wordpress 5.2, Woocommerce 3.6.3

I’m not getting that. I’m getting “Shipping options will be updated during checkout” which is pretty standard.

The cart page is simply an estimation cost value and once the exact address is added on the checkout page they’ll get the correct value.

I was able to successfully switch back and forth without issue. I even went back to UK and notice you had Free Shipping enabled there.

Strange. It says No shipping options were found for [country]” for me, I tried different browsers, here’s a screenshot of what I mean: https://imgur.com/a/z9ZqW2v

I know the UK works, I said that. But the rest of the countries don’t, and I want them to show the price. I definitely don’t want what it currently says because that implies that we can’t ship to that country.

Can you take a screenshot of your Shipping Zones please. If you got that for Portugal chances are you haven’t added that country to that specific zone.

Great thanks. Now click inside that Zone that has Portugal in it and take another screenshot. It says standard. Who is used to get the rates?

Make sure to get a screenshot of inside the Standard so I can view.

It’s set up using the built in Flat Rate shipping.

Ok, so two images here, first when you go into the EU zone, and below that when you click into the “Flat rate” settings. https://imgur.com/a/IEk2QPW

    That looks right.

The only thing I can think of now is the general settings.

Sell to All Countries selected or Specific Countries and you missed Portugal there.

It’s not just Portugal, it’s all countries except UK, which uses a free shipping plugin rather than flat rate.

To be clear, the shipping works once you have entered a full address, it’s just the calculator/estimator on the cart page which has this problem.

(I’ve got Specific Countries selected, but all relevant countries including Portugal are selected.)

I’m using Portugal as an example. Once that’s found the rest would fall in place as well.

I’m very clear on what you’re experiencing. Just working thru the process of debugging.

Thanks for all your help Stef.

I finally worked it out, it was actually the free shipping plugin I was using which was stopping the shipping price showing in the cart for other shipping methods. Just having it installed (without even using it) causes the issue. For reference the plugin is called “WooCommerce Free Shipping Per Product”, https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woo-free-shipping-per-product/

Awesome. Glad you found it. I didn’t see that plugin loading. Must be hidden from console.

    Have a good one.
