Hi, this plugin works really well. However, today I received a comment saying “your RSS feed is only including the article paths instead of absolute URLs, like this: <link>/2019/the-html-treasure-hunt/</link>. Which confuses my RSS reader (NetNewsWire 3!) to the point that it passes just “/2019/the-html-treasure-hunt/” to the browser, which understandably doesn’t know what to do next.”

I’m assuming that the plugin is also making RSS links relative. I’ve looked in the “Exclude Posts” settings (/wp-admin/admin.php?page=make-paths-relative-exclude-posts) but it isn’t clear to me which (if any) I should check to allow absolute URLs in the RSS feed.

Sorry for having the issue. I have checked the issue with your feed and found that this plugin causing this error. No one reported this issue before. I will work around on this issue and provide you the fix as soon as possible for me.

Hi @sasiddiqui, thank you for being so responsive.

Previously my feed’s link tags had only relative links – now they are empty! ( https://www.brucelawson.co.uk/feed/ is the feed’s URL in case the markup below gets eaten by the comment process)

@brucelawson I had noticed this issue after releasing the v1.1.0 so, I have released v1.1.1 after an hour.

Don’t get an email of your reply just saw now after refreshing the page.

Please check the v1.1.1 for the fix.
