Optimizing Images Outside of WordPress

This WP site was built around a massive amount of images and videos that were already on a server. Instead of uploading all the images into WP image library I just linked to them. So, most of the images on the site are in directories outside of WordPress. For instance: https://deadwoodchronicles.com/protect/images/DeadwoodS1/Ep01/Al1.jpg
Is there a way to use reSmush.it on these images?
