Email address restrictions on WP registration

  • One of my collegues tried to register to my site unsuccessfully. WP would not recognize or accept this email address. It is a personalized email address eg: [email protected]

    Does anyone know why this would be happening.Every other email address, seems to have no issue with registration.

    Is there a solution?
