    Greetings,
Updated Jetpack. Past few days had a chance to go into the website to do some cleaning. The dashboard is scrolling, with the options selected several pages down. Wp.com has connectivity problems as well. I deactivated all plugins. It was JP that was related to the issue. I deleted JP yesterday which fixed the issue. Reinstalled today to run a few more tests, with the above results.

Deactivated now, and the dashboard is back to normal. Is anyone else reporting this issue?

    Thanks.

Running the debug test was incomplete. It couldn’t run because of no connection. I do not have any of the themes or plugins listed on your website to have known conflicts. When I activated the plugin, and found it on the JP debug page, the test could not be run because of ‘unknown error.’

    Hi there,

Can you give a link to your site so we can take a look?

If you don’t want to share the link here in the forums, please submit a support ticket at https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support with that info, and someone well reply to you there.

Last I checked the support forums was closed for the moment. May have changed. Innovatevancouver.org The plugin is deactivated at the moment. I ran all the tests recommended, but no discernible error reported.

This is the support forum where you’re posting now. The link I gave you above is for email support, and it is not closed, else I wouldn’t have suggested that as an option.

The plugin is deactivated at the moment

We cannot check a possible issue with the plugin on your site is the plugin is not active.

If you want us to look into this further, please activate and reconnect Jetpack. Else there’s nothing more we can do at this time.

Thanks for letting me know. The page I accessed wasn’t accepting tickets at the moment. I’ve activated the plugin. I didn’t activate all of the functions this time. Is actually working at the moment. Haven’t inspected everything, but the dashboard isn’t blank at the moment. Hopefully fixed.

The connection to wordpress.com has also been restored but it indicates the connection is broke again if I ‘click on the site’ to view the page. I refresh the WP dashboard and its fine again, and confirmed the internal dashboard to the site still looks fine; so not sure why two different ‘views’ on the wp.com dashboard are different (connected then disconnected). Cleared the cache, and site dashboard is still fine.

WP Super Cache was updated 10 hrs ago, per the dashboard.

Okay, what happened here is that when you originally connected Jetpack to your site, it appears your site was hosted at the www subdomain, so https://www.innovatevancouver.org, and the cached version of your site on our end was using that URL.

But your site is now at https://innovatevancouver.org/, no www, so Jetpack treated the more recent connection as a new site, and then somehow linked that connection to the WordPress.com site for which you’d originally bought the domain.

We’ve updated the original cached site’s URL to the non-www version, and now the debugger is showing the details for the correct site on our end.

If you’re still seeing errors on your end in WordPress.com, please try clearing the browser cache.
