    I am in the process of improving readability in one of my sites. I’m finding it useful to use the highlight tool to see which sentences are too long or using passive voice. But I’m really hating that once you make any change to a sentence the highlight goes away and I have to scroll all the way to the bottom and turn the preview button off then on again and scroll back to do the next sentence. Any way to have the preview highlighting stay on??

    We are sorry for any inconvenience. Can you please confirm if the same behavior happens with the latest Yoast SEO 11.3? Also, does the issue persist when using a default WordPress theme?

    Hi,
    Yes, I am using Yoast SEO v11.3 and as described above, if I preview passive voice etc, the instant I click into a sentence the highlight disappears and the only way to get it back is to scroll to the bottom, turn the preview off and then back on again and scroll up. I have some longer posts so the scrolling is driving me crazy.

    I’m not willing to switch back to a default WP theme as I’ll lose all my site customisations and have to do them all again.

    I have logged into a localhost website and tested the same functionality and it does not do the same thing as is happening on my blog site.

    My main site where I’m having the issue is using Focus Pro theme by StudioPress.

    I have gone ahead and left a comment on github but it’s an old issue from early 2018 so not thinking I’m going to get a quick answer on it.

    Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to provide an ETA as to when this will be resolved. Currently the issue is in a queue and we can’t say how much time will be required before our developers can investigate the issue. Whereas we can’t provide an ETA as to when a fix for this issue will be implemented, you will receive an update on the issue when it is.
