• They’ve changed it so that you have to pay $69 to backup or migrate any sites that are over 32mb, which would be almost all sites in general. Now I’m stuck with a whole lot of backups for a plugin I’ll never use again.

The 32MB limit that you describe is a limit imposed by your hosting provider and web configuration.
There is a guide that describes how to adjust these limits here.

This limits are present not just in the plugin but every time that you try to upload anything on your website – plugins, media files etc

There was never an issue restoring any site from a backup, or migrating to a new site, 32mb or more(always more in my case). Now there is after I updated the plugin. Enough said.

There are just a bunch of con devs out to screw people over! Lure you in for the slaughter cause now thousands of users who are still not aware but one day will want to restore their sites will be shocked and given the ultimatum of pay $69 or get screwed with redundant backup files that cant be restored!
