Call to undefined function update_core()

  • I get the following when trying to perform an automatic upgrade:

    Downloading update from https://www.ads-software.com/wordpress-2.8.2.zip

    Unpacking the core update

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function update_core() in /home/adam/web/public/blog/wp-admin/includes/update.php on line 475

    I can’t find any mention of anyone else having this problem; could it be something specific to OpenSolaris?
