• Hi,

I am trying to translate parts of the plugin into german. It works fine in the backend but nothing changes in the frontend. I pulled the po / mo files from the WordPress translation files, saved them in wp-content/languages/plugins and translated the missing texts with Loco translate. I only need frontend stuff like vote, view results etc. When nothing changed I tried backend stuff. That works, so the filename, folder rights are ok. Why doesn’t it work for the frontend texts?

    Regards,
    Brigitta

  • Hello, Brigita,
I have the same problem. How you have solved it?

After putting the mo/po file, you will need to go to WP-Admin -> Polls -> Polls Template and restore the template.

Sorry, I don’t get it. How would we use the plugin in a multilingual installation? How can I restore the templates for different languages. And why do you use this template system for the text strings? What’s the advantage over the good old language files?

This plugin does not support multilingual.

Oh, ok. Thank you for the explanation.
