Duplicating Divi Library layouts

Is this in the works? Otherwise, we may need to change to a different Duplicating plugin.

I’ve been investigating the issue in the last few days.
It seems that Divi makes a number of legitimate but “non standard” choices about the layout custom post type and related custom taxonomies.
So the problem is not limited to letting the user see the checkbox and enable Duplicate Post for the et_pb_layout, but also manage to perform the duplication in the Divi-controlled environment, so to say, instead of the expected usual one.

Incidentally, I think the approach I’m working on for the next “generation” of Duplicate Post (more programming-oriented, with a number of hooks added) would be much more successful, but it will probably need some custom compatibility code as with WPML or Jetpack’s Markdown module.
[I also think the same issues will be experienced by other duplicating plugins, but if you decide to switch while I’m working on this I really hope you’ll find what you need, no offense taken :-)]

I’ve held out on switching for now. I have found other plugins that allow the Divi Library “posts” to be duplicated/cloned… but overall didn’t like those plugins as much as yours.

For the time being, I’ll stick with yours… and will just install a separate plugin if/when I need to duplicate those items.

can you point to me which other plugins are working? Just curious to look how they overcame the issue… I suppose a simpler plugin could do but it wouldn’t have some of the features which many people find useful in my plugin…
