• I’ve been going through editing my website with Elementor as normal. I added a feature to the listed page and suddenly, the formatting broke.

The feature I added was the slider at the bottom of this page: https://precisiontemperature.net/commercial-refrigeration/

I didn’t have any issues adding it to that page, and the formatting is still correct. Notice the featured image is still visible, testimonials are still there, footer is accurate, etc.

However, now that I’ve broken this page: https://precisiontemperature.net/commercial-refrigeration-maintenance-repair/

Any new page I add is also broken. Because the first thing I did was try to just create a new page with the same content. But it looks like I can’t edit or make any new pages without breaking the others.

I could really use help as to what’s going on here.

    Thanks

I recommend asking at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/elementor#new-post so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

I’m not convinced it’s an Elementor problem. The problem is visible even if I create a page without Elementor.

I was just being as descriptive as possible in letting you know what I was doing at the time. Please still help. I have no idea what I’m doing.

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site. You can then use its admin bar menu to turn on/off plugins and themes one at a time.

I’ve already tried this. There is no conflict as I’ve not added any new plugins between the moment that it worked and it broke. One moment it was business as usual, the next it was not.

Given that you have a custom theme, it might be a good idea to touch base with its developers.

Okay, thank you. I will try that.
