    Hi,

It would be great if we could add or edit Focus Keyphrase in Quick Edit mode.

When we just want to go through our posts and deal with Focus Keyphrases, we have to go into full edit mode just to do that.

  • Hi,

Thank you for suggesting a new feature for one of our plugins. We’re not working on it at the moment but we’ll create a feature request for this, so our developers can consider this when planning updates.

While we do not have an ETA for a resolution to this, we do suggest signing up for the newsletter: https://yoast.com/newsletter/ or watching our changelog https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/change-log/ as we will announcements and updates there.

So, basically, you’re here to give general non-answers?

Unfortunately, we don’t have a workaround, nor a solution to this since Yoast SEO has no feature to edit the key phrase from the quick edit options.

I’m sorry but how is this resolved?

    Hi,

Yoast does not have a way to add that as a feature at the moment nor any workarounds. We have responded to the request and created a report for our developers to consider adding it as a feature.

If you want this feature now, it will need to be developed. Unfortunately, there’s a difference between the support we can offer and the level of programming needed to change (core) features of our plugin. Since we don’t want to take the risk that we break your website by suggesting incorrect or incomplete code, we cannot advise you on how to make such changes. And even though we cannot be of any assistance, you’re completely free to change anything in the plugin to better suit your needs.

If needed, we highly recommend checking out the Yoast supported partners here:?https://yoast.com/yoast-partners/.?

We will also keep this open for 7 days in case someone from the community responds with a way to develop on the plugin to add that feature. After, 7 days we will close this topic in order to keep the overview.
