    I manage a website which uses WP 2.5.1 and the dashboard is very complete. My website dashboard shows practically nothing. I don’t want a blog but a regular website. I don’t want my name showing on my theme and yet it is put in automatically. I have no Theme Editor on the Dashboard. I uninstalled and reinstalled WP 2.8.2.

    What is wrong?

  • Have you tried deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    I haven’t even added plug-ins yet.

    I discovered what I needed. FckEditor. I have installed it and now everything looks familiar. My site is not public yet. Just started working on it. I am very new at trying to start a new website.
