Mailchimp Signup form and Woocommerce

Hi.
I’m running a woocommerce shop and integrated Mailchimp via a Signup form.
I don’t have comment sections on my shop page.
Do I need an anti-spam plugin like yours?
There only is the signup form (recaptcha not activated) and the checkout fieds to fill out on the page.
It would be great to hear if the mentioned fields above do need an anti-spam protection with askimet.
