• Hi !
My site is running with Orfeo, a child theme of Hestia. I hadn’t realised that before I had customised the site. I’d like to add a block at the bottom of my header. Unless I edit the code there doesn’t seem to be a way to achieve that.
For that purpose I thought about creating a child theme but Orfeo already is one. Is there any way to edit the code safely ? (without it being overwritten by updates, and with a backup option consisting of the original Orfeo theme)

    Thanks !

    Guillaume

  • You might find a plugin to add something in the header.
There’s no such thing as a grandchild theme, so you would either need to clone Orfeo and change it or just edit it and watch what the updates change.
Or ask in the theme’s support forum for an enhancement (new widget area in header or something).
