Problem with the Gallery

Hi. Which gallery are you referring to? I’m not seeing a blank gallery.

OK, I see that gallery, but it is not empty. It is a gallery presented in carousel form. You can swipe to the left to see the next image.

Yes, the carousel is not the problem, just the size with the grey.

Ah, ok. Yes. I thought you meant it was blank not that it had a blank. I’ll take a look.

The issue seems to be that the carousel is getting generated as:

<amp-carousel width="600" height="480" type="slides" layout="responsive">

With a width of 600 when it should actually be 800, since the images in t he carousel have a 800 pixel width.

@drakyng How are you adding the gallery to the post? Is it a Gallery block or a gallery shortcode?

@drakyng I have identified the problem and added a fix in https://github.com/ampproject/amp-wp/pull/2505

At the end of that pull request’s description you can find two amp.zip builds to test, one based on 1.2-beta and the other on 1.1.3.
