Unexpected Error on Submit

  • Getting an error messsage:

    An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later

    when submitting the form. I’ve configured WP Mail SMTP for my wordpress site.

    Is there another reason that could cause this error?

    Does the Akismet plugin need to be a commercial paid version in order to work?

    Hi. Have you tried deactivating your other plugins? This may be a conflict.

    You don’t need the premium version of Akismet to make the spam checking feature work.
