yes by default but no in action

  • Thanks for this plugin. It is quite helpful. But there is an issue. in privacy setting:
    Members Hide from Directory: YES- Allow registered members to hide from the directory.
    This is the problem. It says the member is hidden but in reality he is not. But when the default setting saved it becomes hidden.

    I’m sorry you’re having an issue. I believe that everything is working as intended by the plugin.

    The administrator setting allows the user to make the decision for themselves. It doesn’t setup a default action for each account. Each community member has to make the selection on their own after the admin setting is set.

    I’m working on a new version of the plugin that allows the admin to update the default settings for all users at once. Let me know if I’m not understanding and if possible please send me a link to the site with an example to review.

    Thank you for a quick reply. Indeed, I resolved the issue by switching hide directory options from yes/no to no/yes.
