Prompted for plugin updates to same version

  • I’m getting odd behavior in my management console for my wordpress install where I’m being prompted to update a plugin to a version which is the currently installed version. So for example, I’ve got the Classic Editor plugin installed and I have version 1.5 and I’m being prompted to update to version 1.5. Any ideas why this is happening?

    Hello @lcroce
    Please make sure you are Correctly Updating the plugin, I think you are not marking the plugin to update, you are just clicking the update button. Please have a look and let me know if you need further help

    I’ve tried manually updating it as well by deleting the old folder and uploading a new copy and it still behaves this way. The web interface even says I’m running the version it wants me to update to.
