some one help me cant upload

  • i have problem i have install 2.8.2

    i wann to upload images
    give me this message

    Unable to create directory /home/modwnco/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/11/files. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    i have the root
    the permation of blogs.dir 0777
    what the proplem any one help me plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • I believe you are using WPMU and not the standard WordPress. My server has had issues with the blogs.dir being set to 777. I would set it 755. If you still can’t upload, and you don’t already have uploaded files for this particular blog, then I would delete the directory “11” and then try to upload again for WPMU will recreate the directory structure. Also, you might want to go to the WPMU forums because you might get a quicker answer there (https://mu.www.ads-software.com/forums/).
