I am a PREMIUM paid user and went over to the new 2FA, which does not work at all! I then went BACK to the old one and now I cannot login to my wordfence premium account. How the hell did this happen!!?? I can login to my website but not my wordpfence account so how the hell do I get premium service as a paid member now? My codes to login does not work. I do not understand how a new service is launched without proper testing!

  • You can reach out to us in an email, like you did at the same time you posted this. I have sent instructions on how to disable wordfence to get in immediately and have also removed 2FA from your account on wordfence.com so you can login there without issue.

We actually spent the better part of a year testing 2FA and trying to think of any issues customers might face. But, as the bible indicates, no one is perfect. Not every situation can be anticipated. Most of the users we had sign up haven’t had issues but we do understand that there are a few people that do.

Thank you kindly. I do understand that one can make a mistake. Sorry, Its just that when you work on your website and struggle for so long just to get one thing done it does get frustrating. Sorry.

SOOOO, agree with the the statement. I have spent thousands of dollars on the product…but this last upgrade is hell. I have clients complaining that they can not login.

I have discovered that the reCaptcha feature is the primary problem. So I have to disable it AND set the login security to skipped, in order to give functionality back to clients. Other plugins have had the recaptch hell and I got rid of them as well.

    Reconsidering my firewall solution…
