  • Hello!
I have the same problem. It works in the admin area, but it doesn’t work in front end with acf_form() function.

    Hey folks,

Thanks for reporting this issue. I only use ACF on the backend and I have never used acf_form so there is no special handling for this use case.

When I have time I will look into incorporating this functionality into a future version of this plugin.

I have created an issue on GitHub to track the progress.

@maxdelson @joppuyo Actually it does work on the front end with acf_form. My issue ended up being about user permissions. Only the admin has access to the edit button. I saw there were other threads about this. It gets tricky having to give subscribers access to edit screen on the front.

@maxdelson initially I didn’t know that aspect ratio had its own image field when setting up the field group for the form. After I found it I just replace my regular image field with this plugin’s image crop field and it did work.
