I desperately need help with “Custom Fields”

I am having a problem when I go to post.php. A long time ago I installed the Live Journal plugins that place live journal fields in the “custom fields” area of the post page. I just realized that each time I go to post something those live journal fields replicate. So now I have A LOT of these fields and it takes forever to my post.php to load. I have deactivated the live journal plugins and deleted the monsters from the server altogether. But I still have all of these fields. Any ideas on what I can do? I don’t know if going through and deleting each one will help at all because I’m not sure why or how this happened. PLEASE HELP! I’m thinking I can just get rid of the “custom field’ section altogether becuase I don’t need it but I don’t even know where that is located on Post.php.
