• I’m running wordpress MU 2.8.2 and wanted to use NextGen Gallery for photo galleries, but for some reason when I upload images it doesn’t put the image into the directory. The compatibility says 2.7 and above so I was hoping it would work. There are even options for MU in the admin section, but nothing I’ve changed seems to work.

I will upload an image(I see the progress bar go to 100%) but then I get an error that no images are in the directory. It seems like the plugin is uploading the image, but not putting it in the directory. Anyone know what’s going on or how to fix it?

    Anyone?

Are you using version 1.3.5 of next gen gallery?

I had to manually install the new version before it would work today.

Also make sure your “Safe Mode” is turned off on your server OR
or, you have to be sure and make yourself a directory in wp-content/gallery.

then you have to make one for the name of your gallery and also one for your thumbs and make all of these with a premission of 777.

    eg: wp-content/gallery/myphoto/thumbs

Hope this is not greek and makes sense. Good luck

    I have the same problem.

Seems like a known problem. You can upload by disabling Flash upload, but that’s not an ideal solution.

You’re right. disabling the flash upload makes it work. I guess that will do until there is an update. Thanks!
