    Is it possible to embed a shortcode within an advert so that text can by displayed/hidden based on the users role?

    Hi,
    right now we do not have such feature in WPAdverts, if you would like to show some custom text on Ad details to users with some role/capability then you would need to open the wpadverts/templates/single.php template file and include the PHP code which would do that there.

    If you decide to modify single.php file consider creating a child template file for single.php so your changes will not be overwritten on WPAdverts update https://wpadverts.com/documentation/child-themes-and-templates/
