    Hello Tim W

Is it possible to add HTML tags in the translation field ?
I would like to translate a plugin keeping both language so I was thinking styling the second one in order to give it less importance.
    Original string : Hello
    Translated string : Ola<br><em>Hello</em>

I have seen the ‘Code Button’ above the two fields but the HTML is not parsed after saving.
Is there anything possible to achieve it ?

    Thank you
    Rom

The file editor doesn’t care what you enter into the translation. You can enter HTML, or text or whatever you want.

However, the author’s code that displays the translation may escape text for HTML, in which case entering code will display code. This is probably your problem and is not something Loco Translate can control. It just saves the strings you ask it to.

The “Code” button is just a highlighting function. It does not affect the data that gets saved.

Thank you Tim for the explanation.
