I am getting a message in Google Search Console that:
Either “offers”, “review”, or “aggregateRating” should be specified

I read the discussion on https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/pull/22925 but the issue is not fixed for me. I cleared my cache, optimised tables, cleared transients, and everything else I could think of. I clicked to validate and it said the error is still present.

I am on Woo 3.6.4 – I just ran a product page through Google’s structured data testing tool and it didn’t throw up an error (except for ‘brand’, but I have seen that before. That in itself is odd, because I would think that the tool should show the error if the Search console reports it, no?

I am using Yoast SEO and Yoast SEO: WooCommerce

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

This is not really an issue. These are like little gnats that fly around while you try to eat lunch.

Ignore them unless you are an actual auction house/site. That’s what “offer” refers too.

Review & Aggregates relate to just that a review. I’m guessing your product has no review yet.

So grab a cup of coffee and sit back and relax.

    Hi @bennettskaya,

As correctly pointed out by Stef before, these are not really issues within the WooCommerce plugin, but warnings that Google throws depending on the content found (or not found) on your website.

I’m not an expert when it comes to the Google Search Console, but I’m guessing that, if your products have no reviews, and thus no aggregated rating, Google would see that as a flaw in your site’s SEO – thus throwing the warning. But there isn’t much you can do about it, if you simply haven’t received any reviews.

When in doubt about what a particular warning means, I’d recommend looking into the Google documentation or support, to see if you can clarification on it’s meaning, or ways to fix it.

Hopefully that helps. I’m closing this thread for now.

New Google error: Either “offers”, “review”, or “aggregateRating” should be specified

Is anyone receiving this error lately because my websites have appeared all with the same error and its regarding the product rating reviews.

    Can anyone help?

Yes i have the same. And it matters for you ranking.
    But what the solution?

These errors started to pop up for me on the 18th of October and I am not sure what to do about them either. Any suggestions?
