• Greetings,
#1 AWESOME PLUGIN exactly what I needed. It is taking me a bit to get through all the myriads of shortcode options, but i’m getting there

I have the following structure I’m trying to display

    /Year/Month/FileName.mp3

I want to sort descending by Year, by Month (Jan->Dec), and then by mod-desc for the actual files.

There doesn’t appear to be a way to do this. If the plugin was able to grab the mod date/time for directories then I’d be able to do it ALL descending and that would be good enough.
    i.e.
    2018
    –Dec
    —-fileA.mp3 19Dec2018
    —-FileB.mp3 15Dec2018
    –Nov
    –Oct

Any help on that would be great.

Also, can i customize which columns are displayed in a table? Ideally, once I have it sorting correctly I’d like to ONLY show the file/folder name, and the playback control.

    Thanks!

Anything? I gave lots of details hoping you’d be able to help.

    Thanks

Alternatively, I would settle for a way to make it so it shows the files only, although parsing the directories recursively. I thought that turning recursive on and directories off would do this..but it didn’t do that.

Then, I would like to know how I can perhaps create “Groups” based on a particular column.

    I’m doing this right now

    [fileaway type="table" recursive="true" sortfirst="custom-desc" onlyaudio="true" playback="compact" encryption="on" directories="on" width="100%" drawerlabel="Sermon Archives" align="none" customdata="Service,Date*,Title,Speaker,Year"]

Ideally, it would display no folders, but then I would be able to “Group by” the Year column.

I didn’t see any grouping options within the tutorial.

Will add dates to directories in next update.

    k. any chance on my last question? about removing directories, and displaying files only, and then being able to “group by” a column?

    thanks!
btw, loving this plugin. exactly what i was looking for.

I have that same question and issue. Any update as to when to expect the next update?

Still waiting on this. I might have to go looking elsewhere…but this plugin is so nice and simple.
