I’m seeing the following error message on the new Site Health scan:

A scheduled event has failed

The scheduled event, inpsyde_phone-home_checkin, failed to run. Your site still works, but this may indicate that scheduling posts or automated updates may not work as intended.

Can you explain what “inpsyde_phone-home_checkin” is for, and why it might be triggering this error? Thanks.

Hi @robinroelofsen

inpsyde_phone-home_checkin will run every 14 days after users allow us to help improve BWP by sending their server info to our server. In the future(maybe the next update), there will be an option for users to disable it.

And about the reason why it failed to run, I’m going to contact our devs about that, will back to you soon ??

Hi @heike-carle
the server which received data from inpsyde_phone-home_checkin was closed since 2018, that why the job failed to run.
In the recent update, there will be an option to disable inpsyde_phone-home_checkin cron ??
