Picture Selection for Main Page and Within Post

  • Hi,
    My Site, https://www.lookwhatweate.com is having picture problems.

    My plan for the site: multiple pictures in each post. (to depict various stages of the cooking/baking process, and a final result)

    The problem: I would like to select the picture that will be displayed on the main page, but not sure how?!?!

    When I add a second picture to the post, that picture becomes the main page, however I want to designate which picture is selected for the main page.

    Problem 2: when I insert a second picture, the post becomes messed up. The captions are combined into one caption for the original picture I posted. Why? How can I avoid this?

    Another problem: when I converted to autofocus from another blog format, many of my posts “lost a picture”

    I need to know how to choose the front page picture too. …

    Autofocus will use the newest photo uploaded from the stack of photos you are using in your post.

    Solution: Delete the picture you want on the frontpage, re-upload it, and place it in the post again. Now I will show on the front page.

    For futher post’s: When uploading; upload the frontpage picture after other pictures have been uploaded.

    Maybe there is a more clever solution, but this works, just in case.
