• My site is https://hispanicla . com From within my hosting using Simple Scripts I was installing WordPress to another domain in the same account, which I did before with no problems. After installation the two sites/domains became entangled. I proceeded to uninstall the new WordPress installation.
Now it seems that I erased php files in my old sites and there’s nothing there. I have a dbase backup from 07/26; the host has a newer one from 08/02.
    Please, help.

  • Looks like some of your WP files are missing from root. You should upload your WP files manually and connect to your existing database…the db is probably still there.

Probably were erased by the “uninstall” of WordPress which was meant to another domain (folder).
Should I copy all the files, including wp-config?, etc.
Erase wp-admin, wp-includes, and then copy the whole folder?
    Thank you.

If you still have a wp-config.php file, then you can use it. I would replace all files except for the wp-content directory…and the files in it of course.

Thank you, I had a wp-config from 08/01. It worked. Thanks a lot, Figaro.

You’re welcome…glad you got it fixed.
